Established in 1988, China Pharmaceutical Association of Plant Engineering (short for CPAPE) is a not-for-profit industry organization. The Association is under the supervision of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF CPAPE:
1. To provide industry information for State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) and support SFDA to prompt the implementation of equipment management in member companies
2. To report to the authorities concerned the opinions ad requirements of members for protecting the lawful rights and interests of the members
3. To provide information on pharmaceutical regulations and provide technical consulting service
4. To provide training courses for members
5. To advocate new products, new technologies, new material and new technics
6. To hold technical exchanges between domestic members and foreign counterparts
7. To edit and publish pharmaceutical engineering related periodicals and publications
8. To advocate international exchange and cooperation
9. To provide human resources service for member
